We seem to have had an influx of inquirers around here lately. So I'm curious - what faith tradition are you coming from?

This poll is for inquirers into Eastern Orthodoxy only. You may not have formally declared yourself such or anything, but you're looking into the Orthodox Church with the possible intent of joining it.

I come from a mainline protestant denomination, specifically the Disciples of Christ, or the "Christian Church" (another name).

My answer doesn't really fit, but non-denominational works for now. I was raised Catholic, was away and practiced everything from Wicca to Bhuddism to Hare Krishna. Tried out a little non-denom independant Christian Church, had a born-again experience. Through serious bible study and prayer, realized it wasn't quite right, tried Calvinism briefly, looked into Anabapatist traditions (liberal Mennonite, Church of the Brethern)ended up back at the RCC. Once I started REALLY studying the RCC, I realized that wasn;t it either. I still haven't completely decided that EO is THE way, but at this point, since I've been through the whole Christian gamut, if EO isn't THE way, I might as well end up back with the Hare Krishnas, since nothing else has felt right.
