Wow...you seem to have an entire encyclopedia of funny animated gifs! Do you just randomly find those or do you have a stash somewhere? Do you make your own animated gifs?

That's hilarious!

Ummmmmm...i just merely watched the video.

What parts of the video are you saying i "missed"?

A lot of Canadians (and I think you know what I mean by "Canadians") refuse to rely solely on videos from random folks on YouTube to understand what they think and feel about their healthcare system.

It's a shame, for sure, but some people in places where single payer healthcare is dominant refuse to see how awful they have it. I always assume it is because they don't know any better (perhaps American television and news is blocked in their countries. Socialist Dictatorships like we see all over Western Europe do a good job of keeping out information from America I think).

I thought she was making a point by posting a Tim Horton coffee pot since it's a Canadian brand and we were just talking about Canada's health care system. You mean it's all just random? :openmouth:

Oh c'mon now, the video was done by a Canadian, and all the experiences in the video were had by Canadians, including Canadian clinics, etc.

Seriously, what parts of the video are you disputing?

But they live longer. Can't argue with success.

You're being facetious again and mocking. America has long united on various things: our nation, freedoms, culture, religion_ you know _ things like In God We Trust. There are no demands made. We worship our Creator willingly. He can't force anyone to love Him.

Is that why Native Americans were denied religious freedom for 202 after this country was supposedly founded on freedom, liberty and justice for all? It was against federal law for them to practice their religious ceremonies in public until the American Indian Freedom of Religion Act of 1978. And for the record, they were also denied citizenship until the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924. That was 148 years after this country was supposedly founded on freedom, liberty and justice for all.

We unite on Thanksgiving, when we give thanks to Him for all of His blessings. We unite on Christmas and Easter when we celebrate the birth and resurrection of our Lord and Savior.

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, given the true story behind the holiday and I give thanks to the Creator everyday, not just once a year. Christmas and Easter are fine with me. I don't mind their pagan origins at all or the pagan rituals that were intermingled with the holidays.

We unite with our hands over our hearts when the National Anthem is sung.

I don't stand for the anthem or recite the pledge. As far as I'm concerned, America doesn't deserve my respect or deserve to be honored. No amount of supposed good that this country has done will ever wash the blood of my ancestors off of its hands. I'm sickened when I see an American flag because it's a tangible reminder of what happened to my ancestors. It's a reminder that this country was founded on white supremacy, slavery, racism, discrimination and oppression of minorities.

We unite in war and in peace. We stand in unity under the Constitution and our Freedoms. And we unite in the laws of the land and in justice when criminals break it. If we were all in unity about these things, most of our problems would disappear, but we have division, we have friction, we have discontent, we have those who would choose to change these values.

I think your knowledge of American history is somewhat lacking and it reeks heavily of American Exceptionalism. Native Americans, black people and other minorities were continuously left out of your utopia of unity in America. Furthermore, America is not a Christian nation and it wasn't founded on Christian principles either. The only biblical aspects that can honestly be attributed to the 'founding of America' was the insurmountable amount of genocide and slavery that occurred during the continuous theft of stolen tribal lands through (1) the hundreds of treaties the United States government had with sovereign Indian nations but refused to honor said treaties and broke every single one of them; (2) the forced removals of entire tribes onto barren wastelands called Reservations or also known to this day as prisoner of war camps; (3) the death marches such as the Trail of Tears into Indian Territory, which that land was later stolen to become the state of Oklahoma through the Oklahoma Land Run. An estimated 4,000 Cherokee men, women and children died on that trail; (4) the ongoing cultural genocide through the American Indian Boarding Schools, whose sole purpose was to 'Kill the Indian, Save the Man' and forcibly Christianize native children with the intent to destroy everything that had to do with being Indigenous; and (5) the countless massacres, like Sand Creek and Wounded Knee, that ruthlessly murdered native men, women and children. The United States of America was founded on perpetuated lies and stolen tribal lands. IOW, America wasn't founded on Christian principles.

We have mockers, who would mock everything I said, we have those who hate us and would choose to destroy our ways, beliefs and culture.

I'm not sure what you're groaning about because at least your children weren't forcibly taken away from you and placed in Boarding Schools to be forcibly stripped of their cultural identity. You're not being denied the right to practice your Christian faith and that practicing your faith isn't punishable by imprisonment or at least not here in America. You and your family were forcibly removed from your home to go live on some barren wasteland. The land you live on wasn't forcibly taken from you by the U.S. government and your family wasn't slaughtered for the land you live on either.

Yea. I wonder if most christians rely on select opinions from people who leave christianity, for the various reasons they give, or if they ignore these opions?

What's that got to do with the cost of tea in China?
