I decided to come back to CF after years away, but I am just not finding a place to connect with people. Maybe it's time to admit that I'm not so young anymore.

I will be 68 years old in August and I have a problem with people who think they're too old when they're not even 60 yet. Sometimes I feel as if I'm only in my 40's. It's a matter of your mental and emotional age ... Mind over Matter, so to speak.

Until 3 weeks ago, I was younger and more exciting than my oldest daughter. She knits, crochets, and suffers from multiple aging ailments. She struggles to climb the half set of stairs into my house, while I take them several times a day. I still do, but we won't tell my doctor that I'm not "acting my age."

I know I'm going to get the lecture again, from my doctor, but it's too bad. This grandma wants to live life to its fullest.

Great policy! How are people going to live to 120 if they can barely make 60!
