A Newbie Thread

Welcome to CF. My prayers are with you for a quick and complete recovery. You are among friends now and I am sure you will be welcomed with open arms and a hug.
I also began my relationship with Jesus in 2001 and I am over 55 (56) to be exact.

I just recently had major surgery July 26th actually and in the healing process.
God has blessed me so much, the dr said things went better than he even though they would,
I have pretty much been one day ahead on everything. I give all the Glory to God.
The problem is plain and simple , I am lonely .
I thought I had made some good friends in church ( been in this area over two years)
but when you are down you find out who your friends are real quick, not one phone call.
I am really hurt by this and have been in deep prayer about it.
So I joined for Christian friendship and fellowship !

I know how it feels to be in an area where you feel isolated; I spent 4 years in a community where I couldn't find one true friend; but the Lord is always with me, so I am never alone; and the same is for you! There are so many very nice and Loving people who come to here, you will find many friends. I am praying that the Lord will put other true Believers in your life in your town, so you will have people in person to share the Word of the Lord with, fellowship, care for, and bring 'em here to Christian Forums! Hi , I overdid it yesterday for sure. We are raising a 13 year old grandson and yesterday he went back to school. He was such a big help to me and was my walking buddy too. Well I felt pretty decent and thought I could d a few things after my walk! I really did too much and by the time he got home from football practice I was hurting. I will not do that again!! I decided to instead get back into my Beth Moore bible study about David that I was doing ! I really enjoyed it and now have alittle more alone time to really get into it! You all have a Blessed day and God Bless each of you!!! Libby
