CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi. I registered some time last week. I'm 54 going on 3 or so my kids say. 
I definitely look my age but I don't act like it.

I have a hard time doing that too and I am in my late 60's lol.

Closing in on 60 but a newbie at the forums.
I'm taking a new job and will loose much of my face to face Christian fellowship :-(

Hi Dave and all you lovely peeps as you know I am not new but it was becoming increasingly difficult to use the old forum, it was getting slower and slower till it became impossible to use, then I tried one day and found this new forum and although it has been difficult getting used to the new format it is so much faster now.So that is why I have been missing.
