I just happened to be passing by and so I stopped in to see what I could see, and I like it. I am way past fifty, so I suppose I will fit right in.I had a bad experience today, my Norton anti virus, tried to keep me out of this site. The Devil, has always tried to get in the way of my happiness, and well, I just do not have time to dwell on his sin. So I am back, and here I will stay.
I just wanted to say that I have walked a long way before I got here, and have a lot of walking left to do. If anyone would like to walk a little way with me, then I would really enjoy the company.

Thank you very much, I feel like a VIP, everyone has been so nice. I am looking forward to a long and lasting relationship. I have found it can be hard staying at a lot of Web sites for one reason or another. I believe being in a secular society, can sometimes bring you down, and a lot of time you cannot find that special someone to explain your feelings. I just usually move on, and look for others. Well, I feel like I have finally found a new home. Faith, is a very rewarding adventure.

It's been over a year since I used Norton, but I can assure you that this site is safe for you to use. I currently use Avast and really like it. By the way, they have a free version that's great.

I would love to walk with you and keep you company. There are many very friendly people here in Golden Eagles, and we have really nice fellowship. We also pray for each other and our needs, so I have really enjoyed this area of the forum.

Given that beliefs and practices on drinking in moderation differ, I enjoy a good wine. Several places in Indiana now card everyone, regardless of edvident age. I suppose this removes all the arguments. So, if you really miss being carded, come to Indiana, and buy a bottle of wine!

Well Micheal you and I are a lot closer than you think. I am in Lafayette, just West of you. I gave up drinking years a go. Once in a blue moon I may have a beer if I go out to eat, but very seldom. If one wants debate, arguments, politics, and controversy - it's easy to find on Christian Forums. However, this is very rare for this area of the forum. I just give thanks that the Golden Eagles choose not to be involved in that type of activity in this area of the forum. It's nice to have an area reserved for fellowship, pleasant conversation, and common interests.

Yes, I agree. Occasionally, we have people come by and criticize us for not having more "deep" topics here, but as you said, there are plenty of places here at CF and on other forums for arguing. (Hey, if anyone wants to argue with me, I'm plenty opinionated, and my mother always said, I'd argue with a fencepost!:o) But I think it is refreshing here to have a break from that and just have fellowship and for the most part, some "non-controversial" discussion.

Nice and light is what I need, I have become so involved with politics as of late that I feel almost run down. I am glad I am not in politics to make a living, it isn't a very good way to live your life, at least as far as I am concerned. JC Watts, a young Congressman from I believe Iowa. He was an up and coming new political force in the Republican Party. He made a decision to put his family first and in 2004 he retired from Congress. That is where it is at, God and family.

I would never get involved in politics. All I am trying to do is help get the services my grandson needs to help him with his Autism. That's a battle to get any kind of government services.
