A new life as a non-believer...

I have a question, and I hope that it doesn't get dismissed as "impossible" or anything, because it is merely meant as a hypothetical.

As someone who is currently a Christian, suppose that you woke up tomorrow morning and concluded that there was no God and that you were no longer Christian. Remember, this is a hypothetical. Please entertain the notion as best you can.

How do you think your life would be different if you were no longer a believer? Would it change at all? For the better or for the worse? What would you do differently as an atheist compared to a Christian? Besides just having more free time on Sundays, would you lead your life any differently? Would your attitudes on right and wrong change? Would you lose your morality?

Remember, you're now an atheist, so an answer like "I would be scared knowing I was going to Hell" doesn't cut it, since you wouldn't believe in Hell any more, and hence would have nothing to be scared of.

I am not sure if Christians could answer this question because we can not imagine a world without God. I can not even fathom the idea of waking up and having only this place and nothing but life and then death without everlasting life.

I would like to hear some other people's reactions to your questions.

I wish I could answer it better or in the way you are wanting, but not being an atheist, I can't give atheist answers. I can only give my answers as a Christian and I would never want to be in a world without God.
