My vote is for Israel...probably why he and the lovely Missus did the trip Down Under recently...good to see the natives you're going to preside over and for them to be able to put a face to the name. ;)
Israel Gaither would be a good choice but thankfully, God will put in place the one that He wants... and no, we plebs should not have a vote. That would be disastrous!

never let the rank and file have a vote. If you do then things just turn into a popularity contest rather than the best for the job. Hopefully the best for the job is popular as well but that can be a disaster. As for preferences for a particular type of general I really don't care as long as they are a godly person and willing to try a few radical ideas.
