To what we have now if it was indeed God who led toward the above which was stated on several occasions in several threads through several years to what is being stated now. They directly contradict. So it wasnt God saying it then or it isnt God saying it now .Erwin said:Reasons:

God wouldnt be saying both. If God said it and said the policy would not change and then it changes , something is wrong.
The Pharisees did not use scripture - they added to scripture and called it inspired. Jesus took us back to scripture.While we're using the Bible, I'd like to say I see these threads much like how Jesus ticked off the religious Pharisees in the Bible.... they sure did grumble.... so do people here. Might Church leaders not be more modest, more open and humble in their judgments and attitudes towards other Christians if they were completely convinced that the Holy Spirit, who is certainly promised to those who hold office in the Church, is not a Spirit of office reserved for the privileged few, but is the Spirit of God, who has been poured out in the hearts of all who believe and love and who acts and desires to act freely in all hearts and minds? The free Spirit is at work where he wills.

We live in a sinful world everyday and Christians are always "protecting" themselves from unbelievers and cults. I for one like to see the doors open so I can make them disciples (even though they are trying to "convert" me). When we go out witnessing the world in Christ's commandment of the "Great Commission", we are to love. In 1 Corinthians 13:5 says "Love does not act unbecomingly". Through the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life and light and love. Act like Jesus, toward sinners and brethren in compassion, toward saints in warm affection, toward others in love. For those who are WITH Christ in our hearts, the Ten Commandments are about LOVE. Christians do not look at the Ten Commandments as laws but Grace of Love. We are to LOVE God first (first 4 commandments) and we are to love one another (last 6 commandments). The first and greatest commandment is to love God with every power of our entire CHRISTIAN being. Where love like that exists, there can be no place for a second object. The Great Commission and Love are the two most important ministry of God's will.
