With all the negativity and political opinions that have been expressed
in these threads, I do not want to read through the thousands of posts
just to find a few nuggets that are worthwhile.

Except none of what you posted is a vision. It is an idea of how to accomplish the vision of uniting all Christians. This is his new of how to do it. No-one is excluded unless they choose to be. Nothing in what he stated in either of those quotes qualifies as vision it is means. Of course I didn't. He has said he was going back to the original vision which didn't say "as defined by the Nicene Creed" that was added later. Nice try though. Originally the NC wasn't used as the creed so you can't assert that the original vision, which is what Erwin is claiming to be bringing back, had anything to do with the Nicene Creed. Another creed was put into place when a need for it was decided. Before that it was just uniting all Christians. So you are upset Erwin didn't pick the point in time which you agree with and I understand that. But you cannot claim, with any validity, that he is not returning to the original vision as the NC was not part of CF at the time. You are picking and choosing posts, out of context, which appear to prove your point but ignoring the actual history. You are good at this game but failing this round because history shows you to be wrong. The vision of the site was restated for those posts after the NC had been added. It was not used in the original vision. Good try though Steve. Sorry you couldn't manage Steve's playhouse with your petition. You didn't answer my question about having another petition though.
