As for mods... well, the ability to moderate a forum fairly doesn't depend on someone's religious views.

Well, how does that work on a religious-based forum?
I mean, I would be more than happy to moderate a pagan forum!! Unless... are you suggesting that moderators be secular... on a Christian forum?

I just visited that site and the Admin there posted the thread: WHAT HAPPENED in the ANNOUNCEMENTS AND POLICIES forum. Apparently governmental agents from the Saudi Government hacked into the site and accessed the PMs and destroyed threads. Needless to say, the place was left in shambles. The poster Palestine has not been seen or heard of since. He could have been martyred for his Christian faith.

This is sad and really tells how nasty the Islamic authorities can be. There is no freedom in Islam, and if Erwin opens the moderatorship up to Islam, then we can have terrorists onboard who may hack CF too.

This is a real danger.

I always worried about the wolfs who are terrorists hacking CF. People can still get in like a wolf regardless. Don't you think God is able to control that? I know we can't.

Wow so many different opinions. I don't know Erwin at all and I suppose he can make decisions about the site he started. We will just have to see how these changes play out in real life and do our best to deal with any negative fall out. Life will go on and we will not lose our faith. gg

Its not. The point is that only God can reach to those who are hearing the truth. We are just the messengers.

Forums can be hacked by people that are not mods also.

Most if not all forums are really only protected by a username & a password. And we all know the Site Admins Username.

I've seen a Wiccan forum where a Christian was a moderator. And it didn't cause anything bad.

He took the easy way out when he should have stood firm. Who benefits from these rules? The libs, the gays, the cults.

You really are assuming all have been called to fight (by Erwin's vision) A body is made up pf all parts. Your assuming that his vision to confront pagans is the true way and only way.
That is however all that is left of cf. I hope that rod of steel holds up b/c a millstone would be waiting for someone that harmed His.

Looking forward to some changes around here. I applied for a moderator job a while back,and was denied because I did not post/talk enough about my faith and me being a christian.they told me to go to the congregation threads and talk about my religion and reapply in lets say three monthes!!!Although they did tell me that my fellowship skills were great.Being on staff here you have alot of power and I definitely think it was being overused.
