Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
Being a person has everything to do with spirituality, regardless of what job you do.Being a forum moderator has nothing to do with spirituality...
I haven't been a part of the discussions on this. I think that there is a great deal of speculation going on.
Unless the changes have already been announced... in which case, anybody have a link for me?

non-believers will have to get voted in as mods..do you really think they will be modding congregational areas..no they'll be modding GA . If you read a few of erwins posts from last night regarding the new ideas for modding..it makes alot of sense..hold on...let me pull up a couple of his posts..Right... there need to be rules, but then tell me why CF can't be in different sections as it was yesterday, just with new un-legalistic rules?
Why should there be NONS-believing mods and staff to say what goes and what doesn't in discussions between believers? Why should there be any non-believing mods and staff on a Christian forum? Unless it for certain games or something?
You don't put non-believers in charge of believing, spiritual "things"!
But what does it have to do with being a forum moderator?Being a person has everything to do with spirituality, regardless of what job you do.

Thank you, be back in a minuteThe first post in part one of this thread, go read!![]()
The idea would be that individual forums have membership that can form their own rules through a wiki/collaborative process. If the current congregational forum wants to ban debate, and if the members of that congregational forum vote to agree, then it is so. Why should a person from another section care? They can request and form their own forums for their own group. Moderation will be decentralised according to each forum/category - members that the forum members respect get voted to be their mods. Mods usually only have power to moderate their own forums. Reports go into forums that are subforums of these forums/categories. It's a massive restructure that I need to embark on.
The aim is to make this a true community where people have the power to ultimately moderate themselve

As I stated previously, it does not accurately reflect the NEW mission of the NEW CF.Why don't you like the current logo?

As I stated previously, it does not accurately reflect the NEW mission of the NEW CF.
It should state somthing like: Uniting people of all religions or no religion as one body.
Do you see anything wrong with my logo suggestion?
