God's voice...says YES so I'm going to believe HIS voice.

I can't wait until Mikey eradicates my membership over there...It's like a train wreck and I'm running straight into the fire with my eyes wide open all the while thinking "why am I doing this???? It hurts!!!! And I'm getting in the way of the rescue team (God) and causing more hurt!!!"

I have a couple of suggestion for you - for FL and in RL.
I say this because I hate to see you get so torn up!

If you have sincerely apologized and done all you can to make it right - don't let anyone heap that guilt on you to the point where you feel you have to apologize again.

Also - just because they say the generic "you" or "they" - don't assume that they are still talking about you personally.

You did your part - you are free!

I really need to figure out why I do this to myself.

I really think it is the evidently common female need for understanding, resolution and peace.

I think God put that there, but He also warned us to shake the dust off our feet and leave where your words and person are not received or welcome. There is a reason for that, sometimes His people got stoned and good disciples can be hard to find.

He also says if they dust their feet, God will take care of the rest of the situation.

God sees and He knows, and when we are truly responsible for our own actions, words and hearts, He takes care of the rest.
