The one thing I have learned is that though our trials we can be a blessing to someone. I am experience many trials and tribulations which really hurts. But hearing other who go through fires helps me to know that God will also deliver me as well.

That's an attitude that will see you through an awful lot. Good for you.

Son #1 was a few days early, weighed 8 lbs 13 oz and I went into labor at bedtime Wednesday night and didn't have him until Friday at 8 pm after being induced for 8 hours. Little turd.

Son #2 was a week late, weighed 9 lbs and I was in back labor for 6 hours, got induced and had him about 6 hours later.

Epidurals for both. I hated induced labor! The first one after days of contractions and the second with back labor. Ugh!

We had father, both grandmothers and a couple of aunts in the room both times! Oh, and me too! LOL

Hey... I like your roaring fire! Looks toasty. :)

You should see the f/p in my family room. It's a big brick one, with a huge hearth - just had it cleaned and inspected, and I can't wait to use it.

I have a Vermont Castings woodstove in the eating area just off my kitchen, too - the kind you can leave the doors open on, and enjoy the fire. One of the reasons I bought this house is that 2 alternate heat sources makes it a better value, you know?

Okay, serious question: I honestly do consider you guys to be family. It's something that just sort of developed through the years, and it does feel that way to me.

Does anyone else feel that way?

Uh, YEAH! I share most everything with you all.

You know it. I'd like to go deeper about some things as well... and the longer we know one another, the easier that becomes.

I don't have a digital camera, but I think I can put one up here anyway. I'll try for it later tonight.

Hey, I'll try to get one with my doglets in it, too. They're so cute.

That was pretty much my experience too. By the time #4 came, I was the one telling the nurses to hurry up and get the doctor. Knowing this was my fourth, they believed me and ran!!

Around 2:30, I tried to post, and the PC crashed...
My first, 3 hours; 2nd was 1 1/2 hours; 3rd was 30 mins. and the last took only 18 mins. The doggone nurses! I wanted to get my hands on this one who kept saying, it's okay, you have plenty of time when I knew better.

My first labor went 30 hours - 17 in transition - and by the time they did the C-section, they had to call in the cardiac team.

There was a midwife there who refused to call my OB/GYN, because she was determined that I could have a natural birth if I tried hard enough.
