That is so funny!

I was up late last night. And...this morning I feel tireder than when I went to bed.

I really need a blurry eyed smilie, but I'm not going to hunt for one.

Hi Dallas!

So glad you had such a good dream. Sounded simple but oh so wonderful. Is it sticking with you still? Those dreams usually stay with me for at least half a day when I have them.

I'm good this morning...just really swamped here at work. I'll be sort of scarce because of that...plus it's Wednesday night so I probably won't be on long if at all tonight.

Hope you have a wonderful rest of the day...as well as everyone else!! :)

Yeah its a good feeling.

I hope you get your work pile lowered some today. At least you know you are being productive.

I need to take the big hunk of raw meat out of the refrigerator and figure out how Im going to turn it into dinner.

Blessings

Dallas

P.S Ya'll would not believe what a beautiful day it is here in my little corner of the world. Its really awesome:cool: .

I've not done any catchup reading on this thread yet. I need a day off to catch up!!

But I wanted to come here to post that I am so grateful for God's blessings and protection in my life. Someday I am going to stop getting so anxious when life throws me curveballs. It all works out in the end.

I am blessed with an amazing family, both here and in real life!

Thanks girly!

Well, hubby has been sweet this year. He surprised me Sunday at our life group by having a cake there and had our life group in on the surprise. He also had my mom fly in here, unbeknowst to me...so she popped in Saturday night... It's been a week of surprises and it's been fun. My kids are all having a ball too, especially my dd. She's been helping dad plan everything.

As a matter of fact, I think they are having more fun than I am!^_^

I don't know exactly what they have planned for tonight, but my kids have been trying to tell me all day that it is a holiday and they should get a day off school....NOT!

I don't feel older...do I have to be older?

Cremi,

You husband is a doll !

And you are not just older you are wiser. I truly believe we can stay young if we just dont forget what it felt like to be a kid.(I mean the good stuff ;) ).

You know I still remember the names of my baby dolls. And that I tried to give a dead frog 'mouth-to 'mouth resusitation and what it felt like when my mom brought home my baby sister and how my brother jumped into a giant red ant hill (like 4ft tall) not knowing it was an fire ant hill.......

Our greek neighbors one time dug a pit and had a whole lamb roasting in the back yard and invited every body..

I used to get tad poles and put them in an empty cool whip container uner my bed thinking they would grow into frogs.I would forget they were under there and find then all dried up and stuck to the bowl.

I could go on all day long with one boring story after the other. But I still catch frogs and climb on the roof(and trees if I can find one) at my ripe old age of 38.

We are all just the same litlle boys and girls we were all those years ago.:)

"Cow Tail" geez I've been called lots of things in my life....:p

Well today I feel like ka-ka. I caught the cold that is running around here lately. I am taking tomorrow and Friday off in preparation for the big day on Saturday. Connie's baby shower. We have 50+ coming over to the house. What on earth did I get myself into?

The party will take place in our yard. Please pray the weather holds up. The forecast says Saturday will be the best day of our weekend but we all know that could change.

Connie is feeling lots of back pressure and just now she called. What is a mucus plug? Sorry to be graphic but she saw something when she went to the bathroom just a few minutes ago that was very slimy and thick. Also she is having very bad cramps and shooting pain. I told her to hang up with me and call her doctor immediately.

when i was little i used to catch the bugs that i found swimming in puddles and keep them in my room, my parents went nuts trying to figure out how the misquitos kept getting into the house until they found my misquito breeding farm in my room. I thought they were fish

When I was little we used to catch tad poles too. We would put them in a bucket and hope they stayed alive until they became frogs. We would check on them every day to see if their legs were growing. We had such a good time when we were kids.

I saw your post about Christmas. What I have done with houses that didn't have outside outlets was to get the long orange outdoor power cord and run it into my garage. We didn't even have to go outside to turn the lights off or on. We just did it in the garage.

OR you can run one in your front door and tape it down at the threshold so that the door will still open and close alright.

I also see people who hang the lights inside the windows and they can still be seen from the street. Framing the windows. And you can frame your door and run the cord in the house to a plug in too.

I have three double outlets outside now. Which has helped emensly with my outdoor illumination process!!

Too funny all!

I used to find caterpillers and place them in a jar with milkweed then watch them make a cocoon. Then my Dad would gingerly place it up on my window curtains and we'd wait for the butterfly to come. A few times I got to watch them come out as a butterfly.

We'd catch them early on and place them on a tree branch outside.

A few times when I got home from school I'd find a butterfly flying around my room.

My 11 y/o DD has inherited my fascination with butterflies...has a butterfly themed room, wears jeans with butterflies stitched on, shirts, etc. She has had a few caterpiller/butterfly moments herself. :)

my DD has this thing about insects, i hate spiders and wouldn't you know it she's always bringing me one to look at  , However; she will let out a blood curdling squeal if she spots a palmetto bug.

Here is my quote for today "I didn't intend to accomplish anything today and so far I'm right on schedule", i woke up this morning and my house was clean, i love the underpants gnomes when they clean for me.

When I was little, my buddies and I used to go down to the "swamp", turn over "big" logs and catch baby garter snakes. I remember being so proud of one haul that I brought them home in a box to show my mom. Unbeknownst to me, my mom had a really bad phobia of snakes. I came up behind her holding my open box out in front of me and exclaimed, "Look Mom!" She turned around and let out a scream so loud all the neighbors came running to the house. Everything after that is kind of a blur... but I do remember feeling really persecuted when my Dad warned me later that if he ever saw so much as a single snake in our yard again, I was going to get "the board". Couldn't figure out how I was going to keep them from coming in the yard! :D
