A message for Christians with depression

hi that scripture is very true but i think that judging by the lack of other quotes you made ,that you are coming from the wrong place ,what say for example if someone is depressed for something they had no control over like rape or sexual abuse or sickness or finance or any number of things that people get depressed over ,the way you are interpreting that scripture is to say that if you obey god you will not be depressed ,which is a lie .

the house that jesus is talking about is our faith our devotion to god, and depressed people still can love god with all their hearts and minds, So if someone who is depressed but loves god 100 percent then his house is built upon the rock, do you understand?

It's an encouraging parable that Jesus gave. It assures Christians that they are a well-built house built on a strong foundation, and that the "torrent" will not completely destroy them.
