I think (at least I hope) she was referring to the members of this "ghetto" as you like to call it. :)

I'm not going to make that assumption when GEL posts. She knows we're not all Baptist here. Her words were quite specific, and she knows better.

Perhaps you know her better than I do so I will mind my own next time. :)

My thoughts on the link:

1. I do not care what a church says about the state of my salvation. I do not need any church's validation in regards to my relationship with Christ. I only care about what the bible/Holy Spirit says about my salvation.

2. I do not feel the need to point out the docterine of other faiths regarding salvation because I'm not a member of any other faith. I realize that not everyone believes exactly the same thing. I'm pretty OK with that.

3. I see a trend in this forum of lots of talk of Catholic beliefs. Why? This isn't OBOB. The only thing I've seen come of discussion of Catholic beliefs in here is hurt feelings and arguments. And maybe some kind of satisfaction for those who have been hurt or feel "wronged" by the Catholic church in the past. Is that necessary?

I feel that Catholic beliefs are brought up here to somehow prove them wrong and prove us right....no matter what effect it has on our Catholic brothers and sisters. All the while we are mostly ignoring the "love one another" command. If the Catholics who visit this forum wanted to pick apart error in our beliefs, our "living witness" in this forum would be a great place to start, IMO.

That's not directed at any one person in particular....it's just something I've observed as pretty widespread and it kind of grates at me.

She does not know me well.

Oh my dear queen elizebeth.......please humbly accept my deepest apology for that remark.

I was typing fast and did not even think about it. Sorry!

As for this thread, I think everything has been kept in context and no one in here is beating up anyone elses faith. We are just disscussing the differances in doctrines, that is ALL.

As far as anyone feeling that the church wronged them, i am sorry for that. I do not feel like anyone wronged me.

AMEN Cright. That was a great post!
