God loves all souls.
No he doesn’t.

Proverbs 6:16-19 "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

That about sums up Putin and his devotees.

Is this a Liberal view or a Conservative view ?

Russia and Ukraine should have seats in European Parliament.
Neither - it is something that will never happen. Why? Because neither will ever be members of the EU.

God loves all souls.

The world has two main problems.

1. Fear of the Russian language and alphabet.

2. Fear of the Arabic language and alphabet.

Since the end of World War II, there has not been an instance where Western Europe or NATO invaded Russian territory due to “fear of the Russian language”. On the contrary, Russia has repeatedly invaded sovereign nations since WWII.

The world does not have a problem with Russia. It is Russia that has repeatedly violated the sovereignty of other European nations.

Ukraine will join the EU before 2030. However, Russia will never be in the EU.

“What I want to emphasise is that if you would just only set a date, then it would also mean the other candidate countries would ask immediately for a date and not a process anymore. But again, I really appreciate the political will that is there. I would even say Ukraine’s merit-based process. If they continue at that speed and at that quality, perhaps they could be earlier than 2030,” von der Leyen said.

Who is afraid of languages? I speak Arabic and can read and write it enough to know the alphabet. Nothing fearsome about it at all. I don't know the Russian alphabet but just learned from Google that it was invented in the 9th century by Saint Cyril as an alphabet for the Bulgarians. That doesn't sound all that fearful eather. Are you saying that these languages and their alphabets have magical properties?.

The Middle East has 3 main problems.

1. The price of oil bouncing up and down
can cause the price of food to bounce up and down.

2. Fear of the Persian language and alphabet.
Makes sense. Farsi uses the same alphabet as Arabic so if you are afraid of one you may just as well be afraid of the other.
3. Fear of the Hebrew language and alphabet.
That makes sense, too. Hebrew and Arabic are related Semitic languages, so if you are afraid of one you may also be afraid of the other.

But you still haven't explained why we are supposed to be afraid of Arabic and its alphabet.

Has the Middle East been relocated to Ukraine?

If they are unable to make large peace deal.
Here is a small one.

Russia could give the city of Lviv
permission to join the European Union.
The EU is made of counties, not cities.
No one needs Russia's permission to join anything.
The West and Ukraine could give Russia
formal ownership of one city in Crimea.
Crimean cities aren't "The West"s to give to anyone.

Why do you keep repeating this nonsense? You've been told all these things before. You haven't offered any counter evidence that you are right about the assumptions underlying your "proposals". Do you not challenge the corrections we make to you?

Do many computer programs ask the Catholic Church
to make women priests, bishops, and cardinals?

That's not how any of this works!

The EU is comprised of member countries, not cities.

'The West' can't give Russia anything in Crimea. Crimea is Ukrainian sovereign territory - only Ukraine gets to decide the fate of its territory.

Instead of proposing solutions based in ignorance and fantasy, why aren't you actually investigating and understanding how these things do work?

I know how this normally works,
the United States and Russia
try to strong arm each other.

Maybe try a different idea this time.
The war is happening right next to the Russian border.

Make a peace plan.

You plainly don't.

If you did, you wouldn't be coming in here and writing such clueless assertions about countries and cities and the EU and NATO and television shows and fear of languages and peacekeeping forces and Hollywood and all the other rubbish you've mentions.

the United States and Russia try to strong arm each other.

Welcome to the world of Realpolitik.

Maybe try a different idea this time.

Make a peace plan.

Because RUSSIA INVADED ITS NEIGHBOUR. Twice! In less than 10 years.

Here's a peace plan:

Russia goes home with its tail between its legs and withdraws to its 2014 borders.

The only thing that slows the withdrawal down is that Putin has to crawl naked through the streets of the towns and cities Russia has destroyed across Ukraine. He has to personally apologise any Ukranian he encounters along the way.

Russia agrees to never invade any of its neighbours again. An international monitoring force is established, within Russia's pre-war borders, to ensure this agreement is observed.

Reparations are paid by Russia - a super tax of 5% of all profits from mineral sales and 5% of total government revenues. This continues until Ukraine is satisfied.

Vladimir Putin is arrested and put on trial by the ICC.

Russia might agree to something like that.

How do we feel about UN peacekeeping
from India, Brazil, and Australia ?

It wouldn't.

How do we feel about UN peacekeeping from India, Brazil, and Australia ?

In general, peachy.

In the case of Russia's illegal war against Ukraine? It very, very much depends on the details.

Before anything though, there needs to be a peace for it to be kept. The present structure, formatting and scale of UN forces is barely capable of imposing peace on a rowdy football crowd, let alone a conflict of roughly 800,000 to 1 million personnel.

Peacekeeping forces need to be committed by their respective nations, so you can't just summon them out of thin air. I don't think Brazil or Australia are going to be too happy about indefinitely maintaining bodies of troops on supply lines of 10,000+ kilometres.

Also, both warring parties need to agree to deployment of peacekeepers. Plus, Russia has UN Security Council veto powers. Don't forget, Russia's primary moves in the last 15 years when it comes to UN peacekeepers and observers has been to either oppose a mandate or veto deployments in anything remotely close to what it considers its sphere of influence.
