Actually, the entire letter to the Hebrews was written to JEWISH Christians to show them the folly of rejecting the superior New Covenant in favor of the inferior Old Covenant. The point of the letter was to encourage Jewish believers by showing the superiority of the New Covenant to the Old in the face of the persecution they were subjected to.
