I've always thought that people who wait to kiss until marriage are just too shy to try it. Is there any truth to this?

Perhaps I see a kiss as more significant than some people do, though... unsure.

Before the current guy I'm dating, I didn't really see the point in saving "everything else" but sex for marriage. With other guys I just didn't see how intimate those things really are and how special. With the current guy, as we became more physically close, holding hands, hugs, cuddling, kisses...I realized how initimate those things are. Even kissing is intimate and special and it's nice to be able to save that for your future spouse if you can. The emotions that come with such things, even kissing, are intense. NOt something God intended us to experience outside marriage.

This may be where she's coming from. Look at it as she is saying YOU are special and maybe you make her realize how special kissing is. Take it as a compliment!
