Apostolic Pentecostals (also known as Jesus' Name Pentecostals or Oneness Pentecostals) adhere to a viewpoint of the Godhead known as Oneness. They see Acts 2:38 as the original New Testament Plan of Salvation. Repentance, water baptism (in Jesus' name), and Spirit infilling (evidenced by tongues) are equal components for a believer's salvation. We believe that Christians should practice a life of holiness (inwardly and outwardly), without which none of us shall see the Lord.
I am unsure of the exact number of Apostolic Pentecostals here on Christian Forums, but I have came across a few in different areas during my time here. Some Apostolics may choose not to proclaim their ideas on the nature of God or other aspects of a believer's life simply because they fear persecution from other members or, in some cases, the administrators. Christian Forums opens its doors for people of non-Christian faiths to be allowed to post here.
In saying that, shouldn't we Apostolic Pentecostals have our own home here? We aren't generally accepted in the Pentecostal & Assemblies of God thread because of the Godhead differences, while the only places the "rules" say we can post our theological ideas are in debate sections or non-Christian forums. That isn't fair. I want a home for Apostolic Pentecostals here on Christian Forums, and I certainly don't think it is too much to ask.
God bless!
