Nice skirt. Hey ya'll I've been off and on, because of special circumstances...well Dad did take the PC to the computer man for some reason...perhaps he has put XP on there...don't know tho. will find out...I send you guys blessings, hope and positivity! :Mwah! :groupray:

I also want to say that I think I might've taken a 180 degree turn from reading Nicholas Sparks' Nights at Rodanthe, about a couple who meet at an Inn in Rodanthe, North Carolina. What I mean is, I could just feel the passion in that novel. Very good! Tres bien! Tres Tres Bon! So, Marmalade, parlez vous Francais, eh? ;)

Ahh...I would LOVE to be held like the woman in that book, but no more spoilers :p and speaking of which I hope I'm not spoiling any moods or anything...I just thought that book was TIGHT! :sorry:

Hey Marmalade, (are you)est-ce-que vous etes Francais by any chance? or do you take Francais?

Comment allez vous? (How are you all?)

I thought about sharing some excerpts from my series, if not chapters...chapters may be a bit too much, tho...so they can be excerpts, if ya'll want...

Here goes...hope you like! "Deep Connection"(from chapter 1)

Stanley Orleans was on his bed, one night, meditating to see if he could use telepathy and visualization to send to the Immaculate Angel.

Meanwhile…

It was midnight and Kenya was asleep in her bed. She dreamt...she was dreaming at the same moment…

It was a misty, quiet, tranquil place. It was nighttime and there was a full moon out. “Immaculate Angel!”, said a boy’s voice.

Kenya was in her lavender translucent gown and high-heeled, short stretch boots. She looked around and then looked behind her, walking in her angelic form. She then, turned her head to the front and saw Stanley Orleans standing a few feet away and below the platform she was walking on. She stood in one place and stared at him.

“There you are, Immaculate Angel…”, he said, softly.

Kenya walked down from the platform. Her heels click-clacked on the ground. She walked towards him. He smiled at her.

“You’re so beautiful…so pure…so immaculate…”, he told her.

Kenya stopped walking and was a few centimeters close to him.

“Stanley…”, she breathed. They both locked hands together, holding each other’s hands.

“Can I kiss you?”, he asked.

Kenya responded by moving closer to him and had her head leaning on his shoulder.

“Stanley…we belong together…we were meant to be together…”

(Excerpt from chapter 5)
When it was time for 6th period, Naimah walked out of the lunchroom with Kenyatta and Stanley holding hands. People coming in the lunchroom saw them and passed by saying hi or cheering.

“What’s your next class, Kenya?”, Stanley asked, sweetly.

“I have Art with Naimah. She’s good at it!”, Kenyatta said. She leaned on him a little.

By this time, Naimah did not say anything, walking in front of them. She stared ahead.

Who was I to think that Stan would be mine? I guess it wasn’t meant to be…I’m just a girl who doesn’t deserve anyone…the little people never get much…”, she thought sadly.

“Naimah? You can go on without me, I have something to tell Stanley before I leave…”

“Alright, see you in class, Kenya…”, Naimah trailed off, not looking back. She walked ahead down the half-empty hall. Naimah looked back just in time to see Kenya hug Stanley and Stanley give Kenyatta a sweet, gentle kiss on the lips.

This was too much for Naimah. Stanley really was her dream guy who liked the same stuff she liked: New Age Music, and she was hoping to herself that somehow it wouldn’t turn out that way…Naimah took off to the nearest bathroom near her class and went inside. She went inside a stall and closed the door. Naimah leaned against the wall of the stall and started to weep quietly and bitterly. She had her game face on for Kenyatta, before. She wept for a few minutes.

So what do you guys think of the excerpt?
Mainly because I need some input and feedback, because a lady who has been in the selling book business told me so, because me proofreading it myself, isn't really that helpful, and I need someone to help proofread it. Thanks.
