Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered; let those that hate Him flee before His face!

Today, a sacred Pascha is revealed to us, a new and holy Pascha, a mystical Pascha, a venerable Pascha, a Pascha which is Christ the Redeemer, an blameless Pascha, a great Pascha, a Pascha of the faithful, a Pascha that has opened for us the gates of Paradise, a Pascha which sanctifies all the faithful.

As smoke vanishes, so let them vanish, as wax melts before the face of fire!

Come from that scene, ye women, bearers of glad tidings, and say to Zion, ‘Receive from us the good news of joy of Christ’s Resurrection. Exult, dance and be glad, O Jerusalem, seeing Christ the King who comes forth from the Tomb like a bridegroom in procession!'

So shall the sinners perish before the presence of God; but let the righteous be glad!

Early in the morning did the myrrh-bearing women come to the Tomb of the Life-Giver. There, they found an Angel sitting on the stone, and he cried unto them, ‘Why do ye seek the Living among the dead? Why mourn the Incorrupt amidst corruption? Go, proclaim it to his Disciples!'

This is the day which the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!

A Pascha of delight, Pascha, the Lord’s Pascha, a venerable Pascha has dawned for us, Pascha. Let us embrace each another joyously. O Pascha, ransom from affliction! Today, as from a bridal chamber, Christ hath shone forth from the Tomb and filled the women with joy, saying, ‘Proclaim it to the Apostles!’

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

This is the Day of Resurrection! Let us be illumined by the Feast; let us embrace each other joyously; let us call brothers even those that hate us and forgive all by the Resurrection; and, so, let us cry:

Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down Death by death, and upon those in the tombs bestowing life!

I love the Paschal Troparion and "Let all Mortal Flesh Keep Silent" I also love the hymn, attributed to my patron, sung during the Liturgy of the Pre-Sanctified Gifts "Now the Powers of Heaven minister invisibly with us. For, behold, the King of Glory enters. Behold, the mystical sacrifice, fully accomplished, is ushered in. In fervent faith let us draw near, that we may become sharers in everlasting life. Alleluia." But, my absolute most favorite hymn of all time, Paschal Matins Ode. 9:

"Magnify, O my soul, Christ the Giver of Life, Who arose from the grave on the third day.
Shine, shine, O New Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon thee. Now dance for joy and be glad, O Zion! And do you exult O Pure Theotokos, in the arising of Him whom you did bear!
Magnify, O my soul, Christ the Giver of Life, Who willingly suffered and was buried, and rose from the grave on the third day.
Oh Divine! Oh Beloved! Oh Your most sweet voice! You, O Christ, have truly promised that You would be with us unto the end of all ages. Wherefore the faithful rejoice, having Your words as an anchor of hope.
Christ is the New Pascha, the living Sacrificial Victim, the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world.
Oh, Great and Most Sacred Pascha, Christ! Oh Wisdom and Word and Power of God. Grant that we may partake of You fully, in the unending Day of Your Kingdom.
The Angel cried to her who is full of grace: Rejoice O pure Virgin! and again I say, Rejoice! For your Son has risen from the grave on the third day.
Shine, shine, O New Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon thee. Now dance for joy and be glad, O Zion! And do you exult O Pure Theotokos, in the arising of Him whom you did bear!"

Paschal Hymn to the Theotokos (I particularly like it when it's sung in the Russian style):

The angel cried to the Lady Full of Grace: Rejoice, O Pure Virgin! Again I say: Rejoice! Your Son is risen from His three days in the tomb! With Himself He has raised all the dead! Rejoice, all you people! Shine! Shine! O New Jerusalem! The Glory of the Lord has shone on you! Exalt now and be glad, O Zion! Be radiant, O Pure Theotokos, in the Resurrection of your Son!

There's too many. I think my favorites are the Paschal Canon, the Polyeleos, and "O, Virgin Pure." But, then, when I only say those, I think of all the other amazing hymns that could easily be called my favorite.

Sometimes, I really miss living in a monastery. :(

O Gladsome light! (Φῶς Ἱλαρόν)

O Gladsome Light of the Holy Glory of the Immortal Father, Heavenly, Holy, Blessed Jesus Christ! Now that we have come to the setting of the sun and behold the light of evening, we praise God Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For meet it is at all times to worship Thee with voices of praise. O Son of God and Giver of Life, therefore all the world doth glorify Thee.
