A Great New RPG

Hello everyone. Guess who I am? For those of you who are new, I've used to be here a lot. And I do mean a lot. Well I'm back with a story, and I like it, I hope you will too.

Guys we've heard a lot about politics lately, a lot about government and leadership. We've seen some great stories, some great drama happened over the last two years, and after taking the bulk of last year off to live life, I noticed that few things we wrote were any more creative than what real life threw us in the 2008 election. Not everyone was pleased with it, but I've yet to hear any one say that nothing changed in the way we look at governing.

I come to you today with a thread. A classic story of a few people against the world, fighting the powers that be. Smart, talented people with unique gifts using those gifts to do the right thing in hard times. There will be drama, there will be tragedy, and it will be well done.
The difference is where this one is set, and who these people are. This story is the story of a fictional presidential election. The characters are the political maneuverers, speech writers, lawyers and general fixers who arrange for a good man to sit in the Oval Office.
Who are these characters? You are.
How will it end? Well, that's what we get to find out.

I'll answer questions as they come, but I can make one promise now:
This will be a very interesting thread.

I will give the brief answer now, since I'm already behind on my work, and I have to head out. But this is the brief answer.

Behind every great President is a great staff, to run a country the President's staff needs to be able to handle the situations, explain what is going on and control the members of the government so as to bring about the best result.
This is boring, isn't it? But that's the same description for every other hero in a story.

This story will be about the election of a dark horse political candidate, and, if interest continues, his term. The roles filled will be the political analysts, and speech writers of the campaign. One man will play the President, a role that has already been kindly filled by some one on site, and the rest will play his staff, or the staff of his opposition. Any one who wishes to play the opposition is welcomed. This story will have romance, it will have intrigue, and it will have depth. If you want a quick action fix with dragons and wizards, I'm sorry, but there are any number of video games for you. If you want a well told story with believable characters put into interesting situations, here it is.

I meant get caught up on all my other threads. i want to give this one quality attention. I want to give them all quality attention. So this is my motivation to stay on top.

So I'm still Communications Director? Put me somewhere that requires strategic planning. That's my tallent.

I'll tell you you can do better than that. Prove it. in a group setting, what would you rather do that would contribute towards the goal? or would you get fired for clowning around?

You could consider putting him where people will be on his tail constantly, thereby giving him plenty to do. Tactically.
