  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you take a look at http://www.christianforums.com/t4997401-game-have-you-ever-9.html then you will see how I meant this game to be, - just a simple one: you answer a question with a short answer and then ask another question, and that's it.

Could we give this game a new start?:)

Here is my question:

Have you ever been overwhelmed by the love of Jesus?

I'm sorry Springrain.
I engaged you in conversation, in Good-faith; only to discover that while you have my Attention focused in this here thread, you are writing Ill of me, in another. ~ And that not being the first time,
I choose to not engage you -
until such time,
as you can bring yourself to *playing Nice*,
with all of JESUS CHRIST's followers.
I wish you Well  Annie

I believe I saw that thread Annie (?)

AND!

I DID NOT actually-see Spring' "WRITE ILL" of you

She did however

QUEUE a number of very relevant questions
> to you <
enquiring of qualification

Which (I thought) was fair enough....

esp. when it's confused minds
and a minefield of emotions that you, now prepare to rescue

Actually its not HEALING that I do
OH NO!!!

God does the healing
all, that I do is extol examples (me)

concerning, what he has done for me (shown me ?)

I am aware that I have been used successfully
on two occasions, where suicide
was no-longer discussed thereafter
and that 'those peeps'
remain at their posts and manage to smile now

You are an active, enthusiasistic authoress
but to learn, you need to be able to listen where-then,
Your-approach might claim to tell peeps their symptoms

next! you might begin to call them your patients (?)

May I respectfully remind you that it's people
you-write about (anyone of, us WITH A HEADFUL!)

I myself have been in MIRE
where, upon encountering your-style
of 'Spiritual Rescue' might think
that everybody must-have LOST THE PLOT

When people's heads get messed up Annie!
THERE IS NO WAY
that YOU-yourself can lead them anywhere
the 'mess' is THEIR'S to 'tidy up'
Until, THEY sort their mess
(albeit with encouragement and support)

then, your INTERFERENCE
could have much more serious repercussions (?)

Now, I do not
challenge your beliefs
or, your 'claimed experience' at-all
I do support the request for you to show (if you can)
qualifications for those treatments you are to practice
here, WITH 'our-support' ?
For, we would wish to do no-wrongdoing
including misintrprete ~exacerbate 'a clinical condition'
in error (ignorance)

That was view for what that is worth

Springrain was clear and concise, polite and enquiring

Sk8Joyful shows sign of being UNNECESSARILY 'offended' from this members view
where, she is I 'see'
'very-prone' to cut-the-umbilicals to her "FRIENDS"
at the drop of a question in reply, to her claims
and suggestions in a thread

Springrains post was not vehement
it WAS NOT a textual slap
The post, EXPRESSED the valid-concerns
that all
responsible adults: parents, TEACHERS!!
wannabe-angels should have in their frontal lobes ! >> RESPONSIBILITY ????

something for you, to think about Annie ¬v

"forgive them Father
for they, KNOW NOT WHAT they do"

Thankfully! the people that have assisted me
with my STUFF from time to time THEY have had some 'nous' about-them [worn the t-shirt minimum]
on the PROBLEMS as-perceived
(that were being-experienced)

May I politely suggest Annie, that you gather together
your-qualifications, so that we can be assured that
WE know what we are doing for people is safe

Let us not forget !
It is The Lord whom empowers us with His Love
That it is He, who is Master, over All-Things
That it is His Will, that will be done on Earth NOT OUR's

With-respect Annie
I am not joining a gang against you
You are wrong! to feel affronted by the post
you-say; has Springrains Ill-Will in it

THAT would be YOUR MISREADING /translating only!

OK, Unn. We will behave.
Answer: Yes, I have. The longer I am a christian, more I realize my sins. Something that before I thought was a bad judgment, now I see it as sin. And I am overwhelmed by His love for me.
Question: Have you ever played the Moonlight Sonata?

Yes, I made bread pudding, (once :)).

Have you ever made a dresser, with 3-drawers - including
* Designing it with Mechanical-drawing tools,
* Building the wooden structure, incldg. intricate scroll-work, & finally
* Painting/Staining the whole thing. This was our "Woodworking"-asignment, in the 6th. grade - in Europe.
Our Finished-products, easily :D surpassed the 'quality' of most furniture I've seen sold in the USA.

Yes, the Moonlight Sonata - was the 1st. ^_^ piece of music I taught-myself on the piano.
(I didn't think to Start... with something a bit easier ;) ) ~ Then, I got to play it in Church.

Have you ever sewed your own clothes?

Annie

Oh yes aged 13years
I 'sewed-myself' a lined-with Burgundy Taffeta,
Tan cordurory 'Dressing Gown'
my stitches averaged 9 - 10 to the inch

Have you ever been approaching traffic lights 'AT RED'
at around 20-25 mph and slowing
only to have a Coal Train
climb over and turn your Hillman Husky into
a noddy car for diddy men ?
ie: a humungus truck carrying coal
followed by 'two' almost as big close-coupled trailers also full of coal overtake you on the inside,
then, steer into your path
closely-followed by both trailers
which stomp the rear end of the car to the road
as if freshly stapled there ?
suddenly there are myriads of little cubes of glass peppered everywhere And
you find yourself out of your seat
through the passenger side door
and diving for the central reservation
as the car is totalled

While I was running to the traffic lights
to halt the German Driver who wasnt even aware
he had bumped anything
civilians were all around my car trying to see
where the driver was in all the mess

Thank you Jesus

Have you ever seen a ghost?
Answer: No.
the Bible cautions us, to Avoid ghosts, (Angels-dressed-in-white, with wings); and that would include
seances, past life-regression, [SIZE=-1]ouija-boards, & related new-age schtuff)

Question: Have you ever been Inspired to *write a Helpful Book*
