Not a prophet. I just embrace all that God gives me.
Though, seeing as prophecy is a spiritual gift and we're all given spiritual gifts to be used for God, I don't see how you can say it's a bad thing.
Why listen to something man-made?

I believe it's giving an example of whats expected in marriage. Anyone who tries to take that as meaning husband and wife is just trying to dodge the issues as a whole. The Bible isn't a grocery list and I don't hold it as a history book either. It's a flashlight. It's supposed to help guild us, but a flashlight can only do so much.
Also, if you think that's bias, I think the original Bible doesn't encourage either. Just bias translation. But you, believing in a LITERAL Bible, should be all for putting women at a lower level and supporting multiple wives.

The bible makes it clear that heterosexual monogomous relatinoship is a part of God's design. Also if you disagree with the translation provide evidence that it's wrong. Is this more of your "prophecy" or what?

First of all, Satan does not tempt. Lesser demons do. Unless you're the President or someone of high power. Satan is not omnipresent.
Second of all, that's another roundabout answer. I notice that a lot of answers tend to be "let God save you" or "Satan is just tempting you". There is a lot more to an argument then cute words.

Why? So you can say it's "just pro-gay propaganda"? I know how you argue too well NewGuy, so I won't waste my time. I will say that the Bible only makes it clear that most people are heterosexual and that heterosexuality is the only way you can MAKE children. Obviously. But like I said. It also only uses "he" and "him" when referring to a group. So by your logic, this means the Bible either only refers to men, or it doesn't consider women worthy for God.
Luckily, I know God is a little more reasonable that.

It's different when you're meant to be straight and try to deny that.
I believe I've said this, in the end your sexual desires don't matter. You could be straight but if God has planned for you to marry a man, you're going to succumb to it. I'm considerably lesbian. I'm very attracted to women (though I'd rather not be attracted to anyone) but I have a boyfriend who I have my heart set on marrying. He's the lone male I've ever been attracted too, physically and personality wise.
Surprisingly, I don't feel any guilt when I decide in my head, "She's kinda cute." Shocking. I don't feel any guilt over homosexual attraction. Which is strange, since I feel guilt over the ittiest, bittiest thing otherwise.
