a few requests

First request: I found out today that my brother got fired from his job for wrecking a company truck a few days ago. He worked for an electrical company and was working at a plant. He was on his way of of the plant grounds and the engine locked up on him and the truck slid out of control and hit a semi. He had to get stitches and had to do a mandatory drug test. The drug test supposedly came back with traces of cocaine, and I know that my brother has never messed with any of that stuff. He takes a few different prescribed medicines but our doctor knows all about those. A few weeks ago that same truck locked up on him as he was driving down the interstate and caused him to wreck. He told his company about it and they didn't fix the truck. He's married and has 1 son.

Second request: A friend of mine is also job hunting. He's a youth minister and is looking to find a job back up here in our area. He and his wife and son just recently moved back to town and now he's looking for another job. They have their second child on the way so he's decided to look outside of the ministry as well to find a job. He'd like a full time YM job but he's not opposed to a PT position at a church as well as a full time job elsewhere.

Thanks for all the prayers for my brother. He started a new job a week ago. I haven't talked to him about it yet, but from what my mom says, he seems to be enjoying it.

As for my friend, he's still searching so remember him.

Also, I talked to my dad tonight. His vacation was cut short because of a meeting last week and has since found out that since his company was bought out, he's probably going to be losing his job. He said in a way he's happy, since he was only a few years from retiring anyway, but he's still trying to sell his house in Florida so now that puts a little more strain on things. He's not really searching for a job unless its still in the Charlotte/Atlanta area so that he can be close to family. His company shut down all of their Florida operations about a year and a half ago, so he's been working in Charlotte while my step-mom tries to sell the house. If they can sell the house, they are going to move back to the area so that they can be close to their grandson.
