  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A few questions for atheists...

Scripture is plain about what was prophesied and history shows it fulfilled. Most of the bible prophecy is now history. We no more need a time machine to know Jesus was born of a virgin in Bethlehem, than we need one to know there is a city called Jerusalem.

We would need a time machine to see the so called first life form, or big bang though. Actually since they never happened a time machine would only confirm that the lies were wrong.

Sounds to me that this is saying not to think about it, just believe anyway.

Of course, if I think about something and it makes no sense, then that's a good reason for me to NOT believe it.

But the trip around the world is analogous to the eternal life, and yet you claimed we get that in the here and now - which is when we are in the cab.

Thus, according to your analogy, we get a trip around the world while still in the cab.

Since little man does not know it all, there will be times we have to trust God, one would think.
