This is going to be so difficult... But I'll give it a shot :)

Your favorite book and its author:

That's really hard... Um, Animal Farm by George Orwell was a really interesting book for me and I'd have to say Uglies (+ rest of the series) by Scott Westerfeld. Talking purely fictional books here.

Your favorite movie:
The Shawshank Redemption, it's such a shocking and startling film. When I first watched it I swear I couldn't think about any other films for months. I'm also a sucker for Fight Club, Inception, The Prestige, Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, Her and the Dark Knight trilogy.

Your favorite website:
Oh, probably Youtube... and 8tracks. The former for both educational and recreational, and the latter because it's easy to stick a playlist on in the background to rock out to.

Two adjectives your friends would use to describe you:
Idealistic and quiet, I guess... maybe altruistic?

Your favorite recording:
'How deep the father's love for us' - Joy Williams/WorshipMob/Whoever really, I just love this song. I also really love Fallout Boy, The Beatles and Arctic Monkeys in non-christian music.

Your favorite keepsake or memento:
I have this little Angel decoration made of wood that hangs on the wall with the words 'An angel to watch over you' on it. I had it hung up on the back of my door in my bedroom as a child and have had it on my wall in every house since. I know, a bit childish but nonetheless.

Your favorite source of inspiration:
It's usually been people in some way or another, their strength, their resilience, their courage... Humanity, I guess. In someways it's fragility, how broken and messed up it is. Yet the amount of potential that it has. My inspiration to do comes both from God/Jesus and the Bible and my desire to see people have genuine happiness and joy and a relationship with God.

Your favorite word:
Fernweh (n) a longing to travel, missing a place you've never been

Your favorite line from a movie or book and its title:
'Whenever you feel like criticizing anyone, just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages you've had.' - F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

Lumie, everything about your post made me smile. It was even posted at 11:11. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of my all-time favorites. I named my beloved Golden Retriever Clementine because of affection for the character in the film, and my love for the Decembrists song Clementine. I still haven't seen the movie Fight Club but I read the book and thought it was brilliant.

I also love your user name because it reminds me of one my favorite words, luminesce.

That is so sweet, I don't even know what to say. :)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless
Mind is amazing, it's just such a beautiful film. I swear I've watched it almost ten times now and it's never gotten old. Clementine is definitely my favorite character, she so raw and human. Have you watched Memento? It's kind of similar to Eternal Sunshine, also a great film and I really recommend it. And Fight Club is kind of gruesome, brilliant but gruesome, look up the scene 'I am Jack's smirking revenge' if you're not sure, it's both one of the best scenes in the film and also shows how violent the film will be.

Anyway, enough of me rambling about films (I'm a massive film geek) but anyway, you are so sweet, thank you. I don't know why but it's made my day to have someone else to, I guess kind of geek out about my favorite films with :)

You're clever. :) Yes, I live in California in the Pacific Time Zone. Since Lumie is in England it wasn't 11:11 for her when she posted, but that's what it shows up as on the timestamp for her post on my screen. I've just always liked 11:11 and 11/11, haha.
