CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1. What can we safely infer from Jesus' healing ministry--and that He only did the will of the Father--only what He say the Father do? Nothing?!

2. The LABEL/SECTION HEADING "The Atonement" and whether it is a label/section heading of the scripture following it (written by man)--or a translation out of scripture itself.

I'm confused FF. Way back I posted what I thought could be understood by these things, but only got a response from Jim, and he had misunderstood my post. If I was off track, please quote my post and show me what I am missing about what you are trying to say.

Well, I took my valuable time and went back and re-read the OP. I still have more questions about what you are driving at. Okay, Ill admit to being dumb and I am sure the fault is all mine, but the whole thing is so tortuous that I am still having trouble understanding what your point is. So Ill just leave this thread to those who are smarter than I am and say

One more thing before I leave. It is good to see someoneon your side of the issue, after several weeks hashing out this PHIA issue, finally beginning to see the light of day and WANT TO separate healing from the atonement.
Grant it, its a puny admission, but a start.

I've gotta tell you that I believe that Jesus is the "Double Cure". There's no separation about it--He saved us as well as healed us. Matthew even says this in Matt 16:17. "The Atonement" is merely a phrase/label/section heading man has inserted into scripture.
Jim--I'm really amazed that you will not address my two points here (the OP). Please reconsider, bro.
