  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

How do you feel about the two Great Commandments?

And if you're OK with them, what do you think they imply about deliberately killing innocent people? That we should pretend it's not murder because the majority calls it legal?
I think the two greatest commandments are the most important part of the whole Bible. They still don't make legal killing "murder", they just make it wrong.

Of course they don't, because not all legal killings are murder; but all murder is murder whether the law says so or not.

And you damn well know it. So when you're ready to come clean on that one, get back to me. Until then, happy trails.

I deny with every fibre of my being that a legal killing can ever be murder.

If the law says a killing is legal, it is not murder. Check any dictionary you like, they all say the same thing "Murder:illegal or unlawful killing."

Look, I understand that it would be nice if we could just redefine words to suit our personal agendas. If I could, I'd use "infantry" interchangeably with "fat, sweaty, mongoloid"... but that isn't the way languages work.
