  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

>>What would you do?

I would humble myself before God, plead for His mercy, and trust in His love for me. I would try to do all I could to grow in my love for Him. Then I would put it all under the Blood of Jesus, daily I would put my hand on that spot and say the Blood, the Blood, the Precious Blood of Jesus, and watch that cancer shrink & the baby grow in health and in strength. Also, I like to ask God to show me anything that I may not have thought about, to pray over. Thanks, JohnR7

Hi Kristen and Sean ,
the mass tomorrow morning at my church will be honoring you two as well as your 3 children. Special blessings will be given in particular for this unborn baby and for Kristen's health during this mass...the entire parish will be in prayer for your family at 8:00am. Just wanted you both to know...more people than you could possibly realize are praying for you as a family...a HEALTHY family! May Michael be to your left, Raphael to your right, Uriel in front of you, Gabriel behind you and God within you, always! Much love and many blessings!...and deep in prayer for you,
Amie

amie and everyone, THANK YOU for the prayers and encouragement!

I am completely backing Kristen on her decision.

On the other hand, as someone asked earlier, Kristens OB (The one who delivered our second child and saw us through a difficult pregnancy) says, In his 25 years of being an OB/GYN, he has seen only 2 cases in which this particular situation has been a problem, and that the odds are greatly in Kristens favor, however himself and others doctors prefer not to take the chance. He also said that if this was our first child and was difficult for us to conceive, he could justify taking the chance, but seeing that this is our second, he is leaving the decision to us, but being a doctor he "recommends" the cone biopsy at 12 weeks, but would support whatever decision we come to.

He also said after reviewing Kristens previous biopsies that the "carcinoma" shows no evidence of being invasive (imbedded in the tissue), and considering her young age the chances are very slim.

He also stated that pregnancy DOES NOT accelerate the cancer in any way, so if it was not invasive, there is no problem waiting until after delivery.

Again, I will leave the decision to Kristen, at this point however we are considering putting it in Gods hands and going with the odds, and waiting until after the birth.

I join the rest of you in praising God!
Thanks, Sean, for sharing the doctor's views and advice with us. Kristen, the Lord brought you to mind today as we were at church, and my heart and prayers are with you. With God at the helm, things will be just fine!!! :) :pink: They always are with Him.

Blessings to you both!
