What chance did this thread had to actually have a conversation about unity if only what your church teaches is valid? Oh, the arrogance. The many other Christian churches in the world do not follow Catholic dogma or teachings. We do have teachings in common but the teachings of my church are as valid to me as those of your church are to you. Unity with your church is impossible. It reminds me of the borg lol.

No one has stopped you voicing your opinions and if I decide to reply and document my reasons for differing from your expressed opinions then is that a bad thing that will inhibit discussion about unity? Of course we all believe that our own beliefs are the correct ones. But remember that many of us do not have the exact beliefs we did in our younger years. We are all works in progress.
