No sin can exist in the presence of God.
Perhaps others will concur with this
We? You have seen the light at last and converted, then. What great news! Why are you still playing these silly mind-games then?
To investigate the soundness of what seems a ludicrous argument you must sometimes first gather all, and assume true the necessary premises to see what conclusions, valid or otherwise, you are forced to end up at.
This does not apply to nonsensical premises btw
Let me ask you a question my searching friend, what is it you are seeking?
In this life, as long as we remain in the flesh so to speak, we will sin.
Only the hardcore "antinomianist" will tell you that they can live sin-free.
In the above statement, I would agree with you conditionally.
Now take this for its worth, there are only two instances when "sin" is allowed in heaven.
We are told:
"...which accused them before our God day and night." -Rev. 12:10 (KJV)
Yes, Satan has access to heaven, and he does stand up there and accuse us each and every time we fail Him.
Look God, look at your saint sin!
He literally does stand up there and accuse us.
So in that sense, i would conditionally agree with you.
The second instance is at the judgement. It is sure that if your a sinner, your sin in this life will cling you even in the afterlife:
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still:" -Rev. 22:11 (KJV)
And in the same verse we have the assurance that once our sins are forgiven, and Christ's righteousness is imputed to us:
"and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." -Rev. 22:11 (KJV)
No, the redeemed, born-again will not sin once they are received into heaven. We know this to be true because we are also told:
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." -1 Jn. 3:2 (KJV)
Jesus cannot sin, and we are told that in the resurrection, we will receive glorified bodies just like our Lord. And the above verse tells us that we will be just like Him.
Once we make it to heaven, yes, we will be perfect because we will be perfect just like our Lord.
God Bless
Till all are one.
