Humble themself.

The world and the flesh make this not so easy at times.

Never truer words, shoot my life at home makes this not so easy most of the time. I guess it all serves to point me to God, and the need for dependence on Him, cause in myself, I'm a fail. I might even be able to convince others, but God, He knows the reality, He knows and still He loves me, when everyone would forsake me, He does not and will not. Isn't He Wonderful?

I would say abstain from willful sin, recite the Lord's prayer three times, perform acts of charity.

It's more important than anything else mentioned so far...not that the rest aren't valid, I just think repenting takes the highest position, with many others a close second/third etc.

That's true regarding repentance. John the Baptist one of the greatest men in the Bible preached repentance -- I love that message. Although rough getting there at times, feels so good once on the other side.

Repentance comes naturally to me, thanks to the blessed Holy Spirit in me. It's praying unceasingly that's difficult for me (all kinds of stray thoughts, and distractions pop up). I've got to really be grounded in the Spirit to pray. So I guess that's the reason that I mentioned that first (although, per the Lord's prayer glorifying God and hallowing His Name is mentioned first) . Peace in Christ.
