CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was thinking of a new Terrible Misfortune card called the American Chopper card in which your bunny gets trampled during an argument between Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. while on a tour of the shop.

I agree, but I have to ask you guys - did they ever call you "Chrissy" in elementary school? That was the fate my father feared for me, particularly since I was a pastor's son in the land of those who thought all pastors and wimps by nature. Even the idea of Christians being able to be strong men was somewhat foreign to the culture.ChrisB803 said:

Haha... sheesh I'm gone for a few hours to visit my mom and the challenge turns to language... hehe... okay for my language skills... very limited German. My favourite can be spoken to my mom and my Lord... Ich liebe dich!

I guessed it was said like Kyle because saying it like keel didn't sound like a boy's name. People always pronounce my name wrong & it's easy to say - it's a common word in a dictionary!
