Good news- you can make your own. Sun-dried tomatoes also come in a dried, bagged form, though they are harder to come by. I've made my own bread mixes in a jar and given them to people as gifts. To do the sun dried tomato and basil, I just throw the dried out sun dried tomatoes in the food processor and let it chop them up really fine. Same with the basil. But do the basil separately from the tomatoes or it starts tasting a little strange. Then mix it with your yeast and flour, snap a lid on it, and tie it up with a pretty bow and a gift tag.KeilCoppes said:I've seen various types, but I wonder - does anyone make dry and almost powdered sun-dried tomatoes? I'd like to pre-mix some bread mixes.
So, Tink, how'd the cookies come out?TinkHeartsJesus said:I'm going to make some Jewish cookies tomorrow. I can't remember what they're called. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to making something new. I'll let you all know how it turns out.![]()
