A challenge

I challenge all of us, including myself, to go out of our way and to really help someone this week, and then tell them about Christ.

Also, if you want an even greater challenge, attend a church of a different denomination or religion for a day and learn more about other people's beliefs. You must first truly listen to them before you ever even mention the name of your faith.

Hello Esran. I did go to a different church today and it was a truly uplifting experience. As for helping someone this week, very good idea. I shall ask God to give me someone to help.

I just got back from STORM Co. (Service To Others Really Matters Company), where we (a group of 15 youth, a pastor and his wife) travelled to 'outback' Australia for a week and just helped out around the Aboriginal community. We ran a Kids Club for the kids, painted a house for one of the churches there, organised a fun run, etc. I'd just like to impress on how much it does mean to a person when you go out of your way to help them. It's an uplifting experience that both of you will never forget!
There's a good saying that goes, "Go out and preach - use words if necessary." So when you go out this week, preach God's love by doing helping someone out.

I just bought a book entitled "So What's the Difference" and it compares Christianity to many other religions out there. I presume its going to be very helpful in being able to understand where others are coming from when reaching out to them. Anyone read it before?
