A challenge for you stinking spineless evolutionists:

Point me to some transitional fossils that have been found in non-vertebrates (you know invertebrate animals, plants, fungi, monera...)

If you can't do it that probably means there aren't any transitional fossils in the largest part of the fossil record.

This is the right way to demonstrate the lack of transitional fossils in the larger part of the fossil record... The wrong way can be found

Course, you could do what has been done HERE, then just pretend that it demonstrated that there were no transitional fossils in the larger part of the fossil record, but that would be lying through your teeth, so please just stick with the challenge as I have posted it.

I'm still not satisfied. Maybe those aren't really transitional, and the scientists who studied them made a mistake. I really don't have time to go to the library and check the journals to see if I know something they don't. Are there any other examples?

Wow guys! I thought you wouldn't be able to answer the challenge, and then I could be all cocky and strut around pointing out the complete lack of even the flimsiest evidence for evolution in 99.9% of the fossil record!

Anyway.. looks like I'm all wet... but just in case all of those are bogus (I really don't have time to dig up the primary research on them)... Are there any more examples you could point out to me?

I don't think this is a good example. Your requirements were general enough that evidence would be accepted, and there wasn't a single restriction on what evidence you'd accept that would be impossible to verify. Because of this, there's no way to reject the presumed-false conclusion outright; your methodology could lead to accepting true conclusions based on overwhelming evidence.

Which, I'm told, is unacceptable for Christians to do, so it's a bad example for many of us.

p.s.: I *STILL* don't know why polyploidy should not be present in a transitional series.
