Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Who (IN your opinion) Killed JFK?

Did Marilyn Monroe really commit suicide?

Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK, because he was trained to do so by the CIA and that was his assignment. Ruby killed him because Oswald was on his way to give a full briefing on his assignment and details of the CIA involvement and then be put in witness protection.

Marilyn Monroe died of untreated mental illness and a broken heart. The suicide was a minor technicality.

Do you do martial arts btw?

I took Tai Chi for six years, but I do not study it any more. I do some of the excercises in the morning to stretch and open myself to the day, but I would not call myself a practitioner.

Who shot J.R.?

Steven Carrington, who had recently broken up with closeted politician Bart Fallmont and had a one night stand with J.R. in retaliation. When J.R. spurned him the next morning, Steven shot him in dismay.

I think they are silly. Interesting that so many people fit into the characteristics that you are supposed to have.

But then if you really take a step back and look at them all in a general way, you find that you could fit into any one of those.

People will believe what they want to believe in them. But I think they are hoaxie.

Where have you been on your spiritual journey?

This is an interesting question. I have been so many things, so many labels over the years. The one thing that has never felt true to me or been a strong feeling of mine, is the existance of a God or Gods. I have tried so many religions, and read so many texts, attended so many churches, temples and mosques. I have had the pleasure of talking to and serving with many pastors, priests, laypersons and clergy of many different religions that it is hard to pinpoint on a map.

The best month long retreat ever was one that I had gone to in India, where many religious people of all different religions were in attendance to learn about the power of silence. I have never had another opportunity to learn as much as I did in those few short weeks. What I came away with, was a healthy respect for all religions.

Are you familiar with San Te?

Yes, I am familiar with the Shaolin Monk named San Te.

He was the first to set aside an area of the Shaolin Temple to teach Kung Fu to outsiders of the temple. This was frowned upon in it's day, but he is known for bringing the art of Kung Fu to the outside world.

There is a movie called 'The 36th Chamber of Shaolin' that depicts the story of how he became San Te, and what he did in history.
