The previous context of Eph. 2:1-11 speaks of the liberation we have from the powers of this age in our heavenly union with Christ, that we may perform the works that God has pre-ordained that we should walk in.

Wherefore, remember, that ye [were] once the nations in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands,12 that ye were at that time apart from Christ, having been alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God, in the world; (before Christ came the Gentiles had no hope of life, and no relationship with God, in darkness, cp. Eph,2:1-2; 4:17-18) 13 and now (Rom.3:21), in Christ Jesus, ye being once afar off (this was accomplished in the mid-acts period, for Paul was sent to those that were far off with the message of reconciliation, Acts. 13:2-3,46-47; 22:21; Rom.5:10;11:15; 2 Cor.5:18-29 ) became nigh in the blood of the Christ (the blood of Christ changed the gentile’s relationship with God, reconciled[1]) 14 for he is our peace, by making both (G297) one (G1520) He made them one in Christ, this was accomplished during the Acts period, Gal.3:28), having broken down in his flesh the enmity of the middle wall of separation15 having abolished the law of the commands in ordinances, (Giving the Gentile equal access to God, apart from the intercession of Israel’s priest hood and law) that the two (dyo) he might create in himself into one “New Man” 16 out from (apo) the change (katallasso)[2] of the both in one body (1Cor. 12:13); The creation of the New Man[3] started after Acts 28, it was the result of the previous change of making the Jew and gentile one body (company) in Christ during the mid-acts period) to God through the cross, because he slain the enmity (between the two) in it. (Accomplished during Mid-Acts, by giving them both equal privileged access to God in Christ) 17 and having come, he did proclaim good news -- peace to you -- the far-off (Acts.22:21) and the nigh (Acts.10:26) (through the blood).18 because through him we have access (Rom.5:2) -- we both -- in one Spirit unto the Father.

Paul is here revealing that, that which was proclaimed to the Jew and gentile of the peace they had been given with God by the Christ, was also the good news of the peace that He established with between the two, by giving them equal access to God in the one spirit of Christ (1 Cor. 6:1;12:12). And it is from that change (apokatallasso), that God planned to create the corporate one New Man in their union with Christ, “the church the body of Christ”, and this workmanship of God began after Acts.28 (Eph.2:10; 4:24; Col.3:10).

The members are called to build up the Body, in the unity of the one spirit in the bond of peace (that they have in Christ, Eph.4:1-6); not by the (carnal) sanctification that is to be obtain through the Jewish ordinances (which the sons of disobedience teach, not believing in the gospel (power) of our salvation (Eph.1:13,19; Eph.2.1-3); which teaching is a deceptive wile of satan, aimed against the building up of the body of Christ, and the creation of the one Newman (Eph.4:14, 24; 6:11;Col. 3:10).

19 Then, therefore, ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but co-regionalist[4] (with Christ) of the most holy[5] (in His enthronement at the right hand of God (Eph.2:6), in the mist of the divine counsel, Col.1:12, Eph.1:18; Ps.89:6-8; Phil.3:20-21). 20 being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being chief corner-[stone] 21 in whom all the building fitly framed together doth increase to a holy sanctuary in the Lord,22 in whom also ye are builder together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit (the purpose of being Gods image in which he will dwell in, the most holy).

The reason why the Greek word for ordinances is linked (dogma, G1378) is linked to the Apostle’s mosaic decrees given to the gentiles during the Acts (Acts. 16:4); this is to show that if the gentiles now submitted to any governance by the instrument of Judaism, it would be against Gods present purpose in the creation of the one New Man, it wouldn’t be towards the perfection of the body, in the unity of the faith, in the spirit of the bond of peace (Eph.4:1-6;12); and those that partook (those who seek sanctification through mosaic ritualism for access to God), would be beguiled of the reward of their inheritance (Col.3:8,16-18), by the false teachings of men, this is why the word (dogma, G1378) is also linked with the “decree” of men (Lk.2:1;Acts.17:7), who were under the control of the elemental spirits (1 Cor.2:6-8), just as these false teachers are; who are under the religious spiritual influence of these evil powers (Col.2:8,18, 20-23;cp. 2 Tim.2:25-26).

Their teaching seems to show to not honor the flesh, but the law was connected to the flesh; and were just shadows of the true spiritual realities of God’s kingdom ((Col.2:16-17; 20-23), we have received the true circumcision, we have been set free from the power of the flesh, by our spiritual resurrection with Christ, and in our unity with Him in the heavenly realm, we are to be empowered by God’s Spirit to overcome the enemy (Col.2.9-15). Gods’ truth is built up upon the apostles, and prophets, which is equip the saints for the work of the ministry, to withstand the false teaching of men (Eph.3:5; 4:11-12,14). Christ as the cornerstone from where all the growth comes, towards the formation of Gods temple to be holy, that it (we) may be an appropriate dwelling for God in the coming ages, this is done not by the observance of any ordinances, such as holy days, or restrictions like not touching or eating certain foods, these are all powerless and lead to destruction (loss of inheritance); and are connected, and associated with the flesh (i.e. circumcised, and uncircumcised), re-erecting the middle wall of separation and enmity between the two (cp. Gal. 2.11-14).

THE CALL OF "THE CHURCH WHICH IS CHRIST BODY" CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN PAULS PRISON EPISTILES. THIS IS BECAUSE GOD REVEALED THE TRUTH OF THE CALL OF THIS COMPANY TO PAUL, NOT INTILL GOD WAS DONE WITH HIS LONGSUFFING WHITH ISRAEL AFTER (Acts 28:25-28;
Rom.9:28; cp. Eph.3:1-6). THIS HAPPEND WHILE HE WAS IN PRISON. AND THIS IS WHERE WE GO TO FIND OUR DOCTRINE, HOPE, AND INTSTRUCTION FOR OUR FAITHS OBEDIENECE FOR TODAY. THIS IS THE MYSTERY REVEALED TO HIM CONCERING A COMANPANY THAT HAS AN INHERITANCE WITH CHRIST AS THE NEW MAN THE FIRST-BORN OVER-ALL CREATION IN THE HIGHEST HEAVEN FAR ABOVE ALL THE POWERS OF THE COSMOS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD (Eph.1:3-6,18-23; 2:6; Col.1:14-22;31-4; Ps.8). THIS IS DIFFENT THEN THE GENTILES HAVING AN INHERTANCE IN ISRAEL, IN UNION WITH CHRIST AS THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, TO DRIVE THEM TO JEALOUSY TO BELIEVE, THIS IS WHAT WAS TAKING PLACE DURING THE ACTS PERIOD (Gal.3:28; Rom. 11:11-15; Jer.11:16)

[1] Reconciliation (katallaso G2644) a compound of two Greek words “kata” (according to) and “allaso” (change).
[2] This word for reconciliation (apokatallasso, G604) has the added word apo (G575) from (katallasso, G2644) the change that was made during the Acts period, this word is only used in Paul’s prison epistles after Acts.28:25-28.
[3] Phase “the new man” only used after Acts. 28:25-28.
[4] Same Greek as Lk.15:15.
[5] Hagios (G40) “holy”is used for people and places as it is used in Mat.24:14 of the holy place.

The Ephesians verses are talking about a NEW MAN that unites the Jew and Gentile through the cross.

The Acts verses are about how the Jewish people didn't listen to God so the Gentiles will.

Through the Spirit we all partake of the body of Christ as 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 conveys but most cling to the letter and never know it.

Salvation is through answering John 17:20-26 and thus fulfilling 2 Peter 1:4 and bring that into the world around you.

Always there is this underlying unity of existence being conveyed, pay attention to it and try to get a feeling for it.

In OP #1 you wrote that THE BODY OF CHRIST could only be found after Acts 28 ?

Yet I can see that the BODY OF CHRIST is written in 1 Cor 12:27 and also in Rom 12:5 !!

How do you see it ?
