Clearly some men are intimidated by strong women and lesbians so they result to demeaning and underhanded tactics...

Absolutely. In some regard they try to pretend lesbians don't exist because the existence of same so perplexes them; on the other hand they try to lash out at them by whatever means necessary.

Then how is there any space for debate if disagreement is enough to be labeled a "bigot"?

There is ALWAYS room for debate between bigots and non-bigots.

Do not attempt to minimize the harm inflicted upon LGBTs and their families by the antigay faction as mere "disagreement". That is precisely what it is not. When Focus on the Family honors a "Christian" entraprenneur who states directly to them no homosexual will ever be a manager of one of his stores (which they gleefully report verbatim) that, my firned, is pure unadulterated hatred and the assertion it is anything else is unsupportable.

Seems to me what you want is the right to label others but when the shoe is on the other foot you can't handle it...you sure can dish it out but you can't take it.

Thank you. These folks believe in "Judge Not", but only if you believe as they do. If you disagree, then they JUDGE you by saying you are a bigot and full of hate. In other words, Do as I say, not as I do....

It certainly was not kindness and a loving spirit which led to your mocking of Rev. Jan Nunley in the other thread now, was it? seems what upsets you is we've got your number.

Have you read any of my statements on this forum? It seems to me you are the pot and I'm the kettle.

I don't know about that. I don't really know you but you seem all right enough. Tell you what, you don't force people to seem to be heterosexual and the converse won't happen to you and everything will be okay, deal?

How else are we supposed to interpret your behavior and actions when you support discriminatory laws and spread lies about GLBTs?

Give me an example of a discriminatory law against gay people.

Making gay marrige illegal. Trying to keep things like ENDA from going through.

What lie have I stated?

You have stated that homosexuality is comparable to rape, and that its a choice.

Where did I compare homosexuality to rape? What evidence do you have that definitely establishes homosexuality as not a choice whatsoever? Eating is a choice. Does that mean eating and rape are similar?

How is that discrimantory?

We both can marry a member of the opposite sex = EQUAL.
Neither can marry a member of the same sex = EQUAL.

You want a right that I dont have. I cant marry a member of the same sex and neither can you. We have equal rights.

If you, as a heterosexual man, meet and fall in love with a woman, you have the right to marry her should she consent to do so.

If a homosexual man meets and falls in love with a man, he does not have the right to marry that man, even if that man consents to it.

So that's unequal.

David.

It IS equal because nobody has the right to marry the same sex. If some could marry the same sex and others could not, that would be unequal.

That is not the issue. The issue is there is sexual descrimination. A man has a right that a woman doesn't have, and a woman has a right that a man doesn't have. Give both sexes the same rights.

Every time I hear this kind of statement it becomes more and more ridiculous.

Mathematical "equality" does not equal human equality.

You have the right to marry whom you choose.
We do not.

That is NOT equal.
