Yes, no error. Just like it is in the Bible.
Daniel 9:24-27
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

So Christians will be raptured before the tribulation, and it will be tribulation saints who are at risk of taking the mark. He doesn't tell us what the mark will look like.

Who is a Christian?

Isn't the job of the mark to determine who is a real Christian?

Imagine you are given a vision of the future. And in that future you see the mark of the beast. What do you write down? Do you think that just maybe you would write down the mark of the beast?

The purpose of the false prophet, the beast, and Satan by requiring the mark, the name, the number, will be to control all humans on earth.

Imagine you are given a vision of the future. And in that future you see the mark of the beast. What do you write down? Do you think that just maybe you would write down the mark of the beast?

In Revelation 10:3-4, John is told not to write down what the 7 thunders uttered. imo, the name of the beast, and what the mark of his name specifically is, was possibly contained by what the 7 thunders said.

I pray hope for that...it is written and will happen. As for the mark I have no clue why so many jump over "worship the beast". Yeah that has to happen first. No one up to that moment will have the mark. The world will be told to worship the beast or die. Then get past that the world will take the mark or die. Now as for believers? What is written? Those whos names are written in the lambs book from the foundation of the world will not worship the beast. No believer ever has to have any fear.
