A bad idea?

So I am a indie film maker (I would buy a camera for my character but it costs a ton of blessings) and right before my wife left a friend and I were going to start working on a short film for a 'drama' film competition.

Since then I haven't even go enough motivation to do anything filmmaking orientated but I have thought of a great idea that finds its roots from all the crap that has been going on with me.

Obviously there would be some differences and some similarities. The question I have, which I probably know the answer too, is should I go through with it?

Will it depict my wife as a bad guy? Yes...will it depict me as a bad guy? Yes. It will show a marriage that falls a part and in the end, all of the fighting and crap wasn't worth the pain of losing the love that is still there.

What do you think?

I think the realness of you idea is beautiful and maybe you should okk at it as a chance to show other people what is truly valuable in marraige. The rest I would chalk up to artistic expression.

PS. I'm a poet and spoken word artist so my pain is pouring out into my poetry. I don't ever feel that it's anything other than art.

I concur. It's a good idea. But it will be difficult to not be biased...think CNN, not Fox news hehe.

The problem I can see from it would be that I would be heightening the problems that were and have came from all this. AKA, her liking another guy would turn into her 'all out' dating another guy while we are married, me being a jerk would turn into me being a REALLY big jerk, my depressed feelings turning into an botched act of suicide, me not kicking the crap out of the other guy turns into me saving the guy from getting the crapped kicked out of him.

These are all just possiblites of course, nothing in concrete. But like I said, these are just ideas. God would have a big part in the short film.
