  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well, it's time for maternity cloths. My pants that fit me a week or two ago are snug, and I got so depressed the other night because I could not hide my belly, I look like I'm 4-5 months pregnant. Not that I mind having a pregnancy belly, it's that I know I shouldn't be showing yet. Part of defenitely has to do with the weight I've gained, I've already put on 10 pounds, and the fact that this is my third my belly automatically falls into part I think. I thought "well, atleast if someone asks me if I'm pregnant I can honestly say yes." However, my daughter has kind of been jumping on my lower abdomen, not hard, I've tried my best to prevent trauma down there, and when she presses on my belly or sits on it I can feel the bubble there, so I know it's not in my pelvis. I think it's my tummy fat, already stretched muscles, and the uterus pushing it all out combined.

Anyone else experiancing this?

What you're describing is Totally Normal. Don't get depressed, you're Pregnant! It's ok to be gaining weight!

Now, sure, you need to be Watching what you're eating and not filling up on sugary stuff & potato chips, but if you're eating basically healthy, you're going to gain the weight you Need to gain to have a healthy baby.

I was Always in maternity clothes (at least pants) by 6wks along. 9wks doesn't sound too early to me!

This is my third, also, and I have been in maternity pants since about 6 weeks and I've only gained 2 pounds so far. I just carry all in my tummy and there is no hiding it. Actually, I noticed my pants not buttoning even before I realized my period was late.
