Well, If those things listed in the article are what it (allegedly) takes to be ''a better white person'' I will have to reject the proposition. I will stay as I am thank you.

I came to hear about this from a podcast I listen to. There are so many things wrong with this. Unfortunately, this type of thinking is infiltrating the church, and the gospel is being replaced by emotions and false narratives.

Just the title alone is wrong, as being white isn’t a sin, and does not need improvement. What does need to happen is to live life in a gospel-centered way, regardless of skin color. But you won’t find the gospel mentioned once in this article.

The Jews were light skinned. I suppose being White and Jewish was not good enough for Hitler. The Germans attacked Whites in all directions. It was a failure. People are supposed to be kind to strangers. Other ethnic groups were less than perfect too.

Trying to show that skin color isn’t relevant. Unfortunately, there are too many Christians that put too much emphasis on melanin levels. There’s nothing in scripture to support such distinctions.

It's sometimes hard to tell on the internet. I think that's why it's helpful to include a sarcasm/satire disclaimer. I actually know some people IRL who would say something like that and mean it.

True. I do not believe white people are superior at all compared to others, but white (Western Civilization) is superior to other types. Certainly not faultless, but still better than the alternatives (in my opinion).

(And also if you wrote in Spanish, because white Spaniards colonized the Americas and made the people in what is now Ecuador and elsewhere speak Spanish. Time to learn Quechua or Maya or something.)

That reminds me of a meeting at a college club where I asked a girl why she used "Latinx" instead of "Latin/Latins" and she said "Latins" has a colonial meaning.

It made me sad to think that somebody lives with that kind of thought in their brain, and even sadder that they share it thinking that this makes them really forward-thinking, instead of just silly. Whatever happened to just using @ to include everybody? That's what left-wing people did when I was younger, only about 20 years ago.

Men have regarded skin color as relevant since beginning of humanity. Millions of darker skinned people can testify to this.

They can have as many genders as they want. There's still only two genders in the language.

I would think people who are always harping on the "gender does not equal biological sex" idea would be really welcoming to this idea that grammatical gender doesn't equal biological sex either (it just matches it, usually), but I guess not.
