Something I heard recently, related to dressing in an unexpected way.

shoes protect the feet so as not to notice when walking over rough ground, to be indifferent to what

one walks over, even those one reckons to be on a lower level.

Those who are on higher level should realize that all is in the hands of God.

So there is a connection between the garments of the soul and the garments we wear,

dirty garments are not pleasing to anyone, may they be seen as ugly?

This world is the lowest of all worlds, there are other worlds/levels,each higher than the first, but are present, not far off.

The event with Adam and Eve caused the Shechinah God´s presence to withdraw to the highest of heavens/worlds/spheres/levels.

And was gradually brought down with a grand finale at Sinai, the Torah too is in levels or layers.

The more one studies Torah the more one will grow to a higher level, however, it should not stop with head knowledge but by doing.

If one is elevated in such a way one should realize that all is in God´s hands.

In another thread in the kitchen sink there is a discussion on pain and suffering.

One poster mentioned that if one was barefoot and they trod on a piece of lego, they would feel pain.

Therefore, one should take off their shoes (mentally) to make them more sensitive.

Spiritual snobbishness is ugly.

Well, we do all have different opinions about things and some beliefs might seem a personal offense when they aren't intended to be.

I suppose as a body(bodies) we should figure that out.

For all the tolerance many Christians manage to run around the streets professing, diversity of opinion seems the least tolerable and especially in the religious arena.

I always self moderate by determining I don't know someone's heart all I can do is try and determine if something is right or wrong to follow or believe, and determining I don't know everything and could myself be misunderstanding something.

Clearly, freemason this or that is silly conspiracy theory, so you have to take the mindset as that of being completely misinformed from whatever rabbit hole they fell into and go from there.
