all 3 of my kids got jobs when they were still in high school.

My three oldest did too. My son was in sports all school year, but he worked construction in the summer. My oldest daughter started peeling potatoes and doing dishes in a little dinner after school and Sat. when she was 12. She got her first C on her report card then. We were concerned but her principle advised us not to make her quit because this experience would prepare her for working while going to college and she could include that on her college applications. Boy was he correct.
She was funny, too. She paid her tithes and then she kept a journal of every dime that she spent, even for a .55 pop. Now she is the financial controller for a manufacturing company. She is the most frugal person that I know.

Our Congress should be comprised of more CPAs and less lawyers, imo.

I haven't said anything thats any worse than what has been said about liberals in this thread. Yet you single me out like im holier than thou and slandering you.
