Expanding into heaven?
If we hadn't evolved, we wouldn't be here.
Possibly.
I look at it like this:
Since the Bible says the universe was both "expanded" and "is expanding," I like to use the analogy of a balloon.
Take a balloon and blow it up with smoke.
Let the smoke represent the physical universe.
Now, take the outer edges of the balloon and, in a split-second of time, balloon it outward to a distance of a quadrillion miles.
What happens?
The smoke begins expanding.
Thus you have both "expanded" the universe, and also the universe "is expanding" at the same time.
Yet we observe no expansion in the "present" - all is in the past even if we incorrectly assume redshift = expansion. The closer to the present - the less the light is red-shifted. Until we arrive at the present - and observe no expansion at all. In which redshift suddenly becomes a Doppler Shift within a medium.
So entropy stops increasing in your vision?
Tell me more about your mother.
Right. 'Cept the bible doesn't say that.Possibly.

I still say chemical bonds don't grow weaker with age. This doesn't mean anything that changes what we know about entropy. But an iron beam is as strong today as it was in Adam's day. A diamond doesn't lose strength with time. Water takes the same energy input to break it apart into hydrogen and oxygen no matter how long you let it sit there in your storage tank.
If evolution is true, what would we look like if we hadn't have evolved?
According to the law of entropy, all energy dissipates until no usable energy exists. This includes molecular bonding.

Can't an object lose its temper with age?Nothing about the law of entropy or the article you linked suggests anything about altering the strength of chemical bonds.
No. Definitely not in our lifetimes. Can't an object lose its temper with age?
Can't an object lose its temper with age?
Okay.Yes, but that phenomenon does not involve an alteration in the strength of chemical bonds; instead, it involves an alteration of the number of chemical bonds providing for the strength of the object. Corrosion happens - and it involves oxygen combining with atoms that are then unable to link with other atoms nearby, providing overall a weaker structure. But the actual chemical bond strength - atom to atom - does not change.
