If Jesus is brighter than the sun, He can't literally BE the sun. So therefore, some figurative language DOES exist in Scripture. Likewise, Jesus's followers aren't literally salt.

No, I don't believe that. I believe creation is finished until the 7th and final creation, man being part of the sixth.God is STILL stretching out the heavens. The Galaxies are continuing to increase in speed, instead of being brought back together, as Gravity should be doing. Some scientists call this "Dark Energy" because they cannot explain this Fact. The term dark shows that they have NO idea WHY the stars continue to increase in speed, but God does. Do you?

Adam and Eve BOTH were created at the SAME time and on the SAME Day as is EVERY other Christian. Adam was "formed" on the 3rd Day. Gen 2:4-7....BUT....was not "created" until the 6th Day. Gen 1:27 Eve was made AFTER the beasts of the field and birds on the 6th Day. Gen 2:22 To be "created in God's Image" is to be born again Spiritually, in Christ, and this happened AFTER Cain killed Abel. Gen 5:1-2 Amen?

Only those who don't consider Jesus to be God believe that He rested for 24 hours in the beginning but hasn't rested since.

Please show chapter and verse where God rested from ALL of His work in the beginning as Gen 2:2-3 repeat. You cannot, but go ahead and try. It will help others to understand what is actually written. Amen?

Sorry, but I didn't notice you explaining HOW God rested (ceased) from ALL of His creating when it takes the AGREEMENT of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to "create" a new creature in Christ according to Gen 1:26 AND John 14:16. IF God rested from ALL of His creating in the beginning, then WHY did Jesus tell us that God was still working "hitherto" which in Greek means up to the present time? Jhn 5:17
